 To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment.

 

Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is sometimes inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each bird on time, but can't always predict when an emergency may need to be seen.

For added convenience, a limited number of 'drop-off' appointments are available. These appointments allow you to bring your bird at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us. Usually we will ask you to drop off before 10am.  We will contact yol to go over the diagnosis and treatment plan. If you have a specific time that you would like to pick up, please let us know when you come in.  We do our best to accommodate your needs.

What to expect:

Once we learn of your situation, we will give you a time to bring your bird in (typically as soon as you can get to us).  Your bird will be admitted to our hospital for triage and immediate support care. 

We will ask you to complete a questionnaire so that we may learn a bit more about your bird’s situation.   Once your bird has stabilized and we know a bit more, we will update you on their condition.

Though this may be a frightening time for you, we request that you remain in the lobby during your bird’s treatment so that our trained medical staff can devote their attention to your birds needs.
