You all did an excellent job of keeping us posted on his progress and were gracious with your time whenever we called. We, as his human friends, have learned from this experience how we must improve our animal interaction oversight to make sure that nothing like this happens again. Thanks again for all you did to keep our 28 year relationship on track - our home felt so empty without Mr. Noodles watching over our living room! We are so grateful to have him back safe. He is doing great, yesterday he was dipping fresh green beans into a dab of melting vanilla ice cream (a special treat he loves). So thanks again for getting him back to us!!! We typically have several adoptable birds looking for a home! They range from chickens, to finches to parrots. If you have been looking for a new feathered family member, you NEEd to give us a call! You can meet all the birds available via a personal appointment, which will allow you to interact with them on an individual basis. We will be available to answer questions and help you get started.

The Avian Medical Center was established in 1986, and we are still the only veterinary clinic exclusively for birds in Oregon.

Located near picturesque Lake Oswego, we're just a short drive from downtown Portland.

Our staff are experienced, well trained and have birds of their own.

The Avian Medical Center sees thousands of birds a year. From parrots to chickens and anything else with feathers, we have the experience to meet the unique needs of your bird. Dr. Marli Lintner's first chicken was a little Barred Plymouth Rock hen who greeted each visitor in the lobby of her veterinary clinic. "She was a handful, she was hysterical," chuckles Dr. Lintner, who owns the Avian Medical Center in Lake Oswego, a suburb of Portland, Oregon.
