Appointments are available every day of the week except Wednesdays, Sundays and some Saturdays.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is sometimes inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each bird on time, but can't always predict when an emergency may need to be seen.

For added convenience, a limited number of 'drop-off' appointments are available. These appointments allow you to bring your bird at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us. Usually we will ask you to drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. If you have a specific time that you would like to pick up, please let us know when you come in.  We will do our best to accommodate your needs. 

*If you are having an emergency during appointment hours, please contact us for an emergency admissions appointment.   What to expect: Once we learn of your situation, we will give you a time to bring your bird in (typically as soon as you can get to us).  Your bird will be admitted to our hospital ward and brought back to our treatment area for triage and immediate support care.  Though this may be a frightening time for you, we request that you remain in the lobby during your birds treatment so that our trained medical staff can devote their attention to your birds needs.  We will ask you to complete a questionnare so that we may learn a bit more about your birds situation.   Once your bird seems to have stabalized, and we know a bit more, we will update you on their condition.
